Ques was raised for most of his life in the Bronx, New York. Born in Haiti in 1982 during the midst of a revolution, Ques’ life changed dramatically at age two when his father, a political dissident, was brutally murdered in cold blood. Ques’ music is a tribute to his Haitian roots, his father’s dream and the Bronx neighborhood he grew up in.
A star in the Bronx by 18, Ques became a local hit and began performing in clubs like Pyramid, Speed, West End lounge and Nuyorican Poets Café. Soon, he was opening shows for stars such as Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Elephant man. His music was also included on the movie soundtrack for “Sucker Punch”. This momentum continued and extended into work in television and on Broadway. Ques is also ranked one of NY''s #1 unsigned talents and continue to climb charts on almost every top mp3 Internet websites from https://www.tradebit.com to https://www.tradebit.com. More recently, Ques has rapped and starred in a commercial for Reebok and has a collaboration with reggae superstar Elephant man.
Ques has the ability to rap in two different languages English and french creating a fan base not only domestic but international. He is currently working on the highly anticipated follow-up to his 2006 debut album, “Open Book" which has sold over 5,000 copies and continue burn up shelves.” This new album, as with his first promises to offer new looks at rapping, flow and skills.
