MP3 Pallino - Didn't Know How To Swim.

European sounding rock.

4 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Emo, ROCK: Modern Rock

Details:
Made up of four old friends looking to bring a new sound to the Washington, DC area music scene, formed in October 2003. Fusing each member''s individual style and talent, pallino offers European-style modern rock that listeners describe as "intoxicating" and "addictive" with stylistic nuances of band favorites, Radiohead, Pete Yorn, and Coldplay. Enigmatic, thought-provoking lyrics, conveyed through clean and dynamic vocal melodies and occasional harmonies, are deliberately woven through solid, driving instrumentals. This carefully crafted combination creates the overall confident and unique sound of pallino that keeps listeners captivated. pallino welcomed the release of its first EP, "didn''t know how to swim" in Spring 2004. The thrill of bringing their music to live audiences across the DC metro area and places beyond, and meeting new friends and fans along the way, is what motivates the band. Thriving on the energy of the audience and allowing themselves to be drawn into their own music, pallino plays a wide range of venues, from small local clubs to large private events hosting audiences in the hundreds. The band continually focuses on writing new material, playing a variety of venues to gain public exposure, and promoting their songs to local, web, and satellite radio stations. They plan to re-enter the studio in 2005 to record a full-length album. True to its name as the small target ball that other balls try to get nearest to in the game of Bocce, pallino, the band, is making its mark and taking its place in the DC music scene.
