Plastic Soul Band, based in Tokyo, Japan, was formed in 2002. Each member had gotten different music careers before then. Some mainly played hard rock, others did blues, R & B or Jazz at many gigs in Tokyo. That makes the same composer, KNG''s tunes have a variety of tastes with colorful instrumental arrangements. Since 2002, they have performed in many shows, not only playing their original songs, but taking part in a wide range of events from Janis Joplin''s Tribute to Hip Hop dance party.
At the end of 2004, when they became confident enough to produce and play their own sound, they started making this first CD album. They made use of many measures and skills for this recording. To enhance the acoustic sound, they recorded on reel-to-reel. KNG connected his guitar to Lesley. Hamber made orchestra arrangements by playing four kinds of saxophones by himself.
The energy they put into their sound making widely appealed to a great number of listeners. Right after they provided their album tunes to Podsafe Music Network, many podcasters started playing them on their podcasts. That phenomenon is not limited to Japanese and English speaking countries. Their music have been spread across the Pacific and the Atlantic, in over more than 30 cities of 11 nations, getting praising comments, expecially for "Lonesome Hearted Woman''s Blues" from the podcasters as follows:

Either strangely or naturally, their selection from the album is not focused on only one song, but well-balanced and all of the tunes are aired by those podcasts: nothing has been left behind. Shirokumo Aosora, pop-rock song, was played in Germany. Leaving For Good, acoustic ballad, was repeatedly played in the UK and the USA. Johnny''s Song, a swing pop song, was played in Portugual and Hong Kong.
This first album is sophisticated and perfect although it is not their final goal. They are lways progressing and producing much wider range of songs, so this album is the only record of Plastic Soul Band of 2004.
