Coupling mild irreverence with unapologetic sentimentality, Pink Sabbath, the four-gal/three-part harmony band entertains with cleverly crafted original songs along with some heavy metal favorites: playing on an eclectic mix of accordion, violin, guitar and bass. Though they''ve been known to bring on the occasional self combusting drummer, dwarves, and miniature Stone Henge replica props, the core of Pink Sabbath is: Pink Drake (Sharron Drake on violin and vocals) Lady Pinkwick (Diana Lerwick on accordion, flute and vocals) and Pinky Pfeiff-a-dero (Adrienne Pfeiffer on guitar and vocals) and the ever properly pouting Magenta (Cindy Guiliani, on a cheap ass electric bass). Lady Pinkwick keeps things interesting by occasionally breaking out the flute during the group''s Lynyrd Skynyrd covers. Pink Drake and Pinky Pfeiff-a-dero met several years ago while performing in the cast of the West Coast premier of the Tony winning musical, Cowgirls. Diana soon followed - becoming their alto vocalist and accordion player, and Magenta is still wondering what happened earlier this summer on the corner of 23rd and Valencia when Pinky first dragged her into their strange sphere.
