The trails he rides from his home in Truckee, California wind through the rugged and beautiful Sierras surrounding Lake Tahoe and the Truckee River. Pete''s family began cattle ranching in San Mateo County, California in the 1860''s. Working with his father-in-law, a rancher, horse trainer and retired rodeo cowboy, has also influenced him.
