My hope is to make people feel good, feel where I''m coming from, at least to some extent through my music. Music can be such a powerful thing. It''s amazing to me how music can stir up so many emotions or make you flash back to an exact moment in your life, and feel that exact way you originally felt or in an instant, uplift your mood. Whether you''re in L.A. traffic, or in a club where they''ve been playing wack songs all night and you feel like you''re damn near the only person in the place not frontin'', finally that one joint comes on and you''re immediately amped. Just like that, your whole mood changes and regardless of everyone else you have the great time you came to have.
I am very thankful for the ability to create music and be able to put emotion to my words with my voice. In my opinion, it''s the combination of feeling and the words that help make a song. Sometimes more so the feeling, than the words actually being sung.
There are a lot of things I like to do, but my love and passion for music has so steadily grown that I realize that I wouldn''t be happy if I wasn''t making music.
I believe that everyone is blessed with certain talents and abilities; some thing that they were just meant to do. Some passions are clearer to some of us than others. My hope is that everyone would follow their passions even if that means stepping outside the box and comfort zones to do so. What a beautiful thing that would be.
