Code Quad 5''s previous CD ''End Of The Common'', released in 2005, was met with widespread critical acclaim:

Each song keeps you in anticipation of what new creative expression awaits you.

Code Quad 5''s Album "End of the Common" really caught me off guard with its enveloping and unique blend of electronic sounds and other more traditional instruments. Each song keeps you in anticipation of what new creative expression awaits you on the track, and the sleepy, contemplative, yet mesmerizing sounds are an acoustic massage for the road weary soul. I am a songwriter whose main focus is lyrics, and I never thought I could enjoy music without words until! The sounds speak volumes all by themselves, from the respirator on "Asthmatic", to the Hand Claps on Highway Blues. This album says it all, even without the words.

EXCELLENT ALBUM!!!

Code Quad 5''s debut album will make you remember that electronic music can have feeling and melody. With a blend of classic instruments such as guitars, cellos, and tambourine mixed with warbling synths and popping percussion, Code Quad 5 has put together an album that feels familiar (like Moby) yet progressively new.

Evoking The Early Electronic Giants
Reviewer: JoeBase of Shaved Fish
The soundscapes explored on End Of The Common evoke the giants of the electronic genre. Moby-esque breakbeats provide the foundation for a multitude of sonic textures. One can at different times hear a palette reminicent of Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Oldfield and Jarre. Organics and electronics combine for a rich and refreshing aural experience. From the lilting refrain of Fearless to the Debussey/Art Of Noise beauty of Odyssey; End Of The Common stands up listen after listen and will be one of those cds you''ll want to turn others onto. A must for your collection.

Excellent collection of chill-out tunes
Reviewer: SRM
"End of the Common" is a refreshing collection of sonic environments that range from pastoral to menacing and even poignant at times. Good chill-out pieces that defy easy categorization. Styles ranging from Ambient to Trance and all stops in-between are utilized to evoke mood and feeling. A great CD to put on after a rough day when you''re ready to relax.
