In 2001 I was called by Jesus through praise and worship music that I could hear coming from a Church in Mountain View Ca. I had been living across the street for about 6 years and could hear the music flow through my bedroom window from the church.
One day the music became so faint to where I could barely hear it, so I decided to go to the church. I walked across the street. The music was still faint. I started to leave and saw a lady on the way to the church. I asked her what type of church this was and she responded " it''s God''s church" and asked if I would like to go in with her. At this point I felt improperly dressed being that I was in a pair of jeans and a tee shirt. I explained this to the lady and she said to come as I was. I went into the church and the power of God hit me so strong. I just started weeping. A gentelman asked me if I would like to fill out a guest card and I couldn''t as I continued to just weep.
I stayed for the remainder of the service. As I walked home I was still in awe of what I had experienced. I went back the following week and was filled with the Holy Ghost and Baptised in the lovely name of Jesus. Three months later I joined the praise team. In 2005 the Lord began placing songs on my heart that have touched me deeply. Around late 2006 I felt a strong burden to take a step of faith as well as being obedient to what God pressed upon me and share these songs with everyone.
The first project was named Living Waters and was released in 2009. Since then God has placed more songs in my heart. My new project Rekindle is a reflection of some of the songs. I hope and pray these songs will speak to the hearts of all who hear and listen. Our God is an awesome God! Praises to the King!
