Troy was born on February 27, 1993 in Zanesville, Ohio. At the age of 3 he moved to Delaware, Ohio, where he currently resides with his father (Chuck), mother (Ginger), and foster brother (Robby). Although Troy has always had a love for music, the passion of song writing and playing guitar didn''t come along until the age of 16. When Troy was a sophomore in high school, his parents bought him Kenny Chesney''s Greatest Hits and that''s when things began to change. Troy decided to trade an air soft pellet gun for a friends guitar and he began to teach himself cords and Kenny songs. He also decided to test his singing ability by trying out for the church praise team, where he earned a spot singing every 2nd Sunday of the month. He soon started writing his own songs and after much encouragement from his worship minister, Josh Brainard, Troy recorded his first album. Troy currently plays when ever and where ever he can. He hopes, after graduating high school in June 2011, to be able to start chasing his ultimate dream of playing and singing his songs to people everywhere. Troy is a huge fan of Bob Marley, Rush, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, and Dierks Bentley, but ultimatley receives most of his inspiration from Kenny Chesney. Troy''s hope is that you will receive as much inspiration and joy from his music as he has from all the great artist listed above.
