Kathy and Roger are sister and brother, and they joined together for a tribute album to their Dad, J.T. Barger. They have been singing gospel music since their early years. Kathy''s voice adds emotion and depth to her songs, and Roger''s voice is so smooth that you just want to lean back and close your eyes while he sings. Their CD, Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, consists of 11 tunes that are sure to please gospel, country and bluegrass lovers! Some of the songs are piano hymns while the remainder have more of a country and bluegrass sound. Most of the tunes are old favorites, but there are three never before released songs on the CD as well. The CD also includes a piano solo of Soon and Very Soon by Jeff Gordon, one of the pianists featured on the CD. This piano solo is featured on the CD because we believe that soon and very soon indeed we will be seeing Mr. J.T. in heaven! Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The musicians on the CD are Jeff Gordon (piano), Jerry Watts (piano), Ronny Koon (bass), Bill Burdette (mandolin and banjo), Eddie Gordon (snare drum) and Kelly Gordon (guitar).
