J. D. lives in Dallas, Texas and has been writing poetry for over 25 years. He is new in the music industry and his work is being received with excitement. After God J.D. loves his wonderful family. J.D., the 11th of 12 children in a nurturing and loving family, has honed his craft through church and family affiliations. It is his endeavor to inspire and motivate all his ministry reaches. He believes in reaching back and inspiring the younger family members to trust God and dream big. What ever you believe and conceive, you can achieve is one of his favorite quotes. J.D. is most proud of his title of father. He gets great joy, inspiration and fulfillment as he parents his two sons, James Jr. and Sean. Teaching them about God and selfless service tops his list of priorities.
J.D. obtained his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma and has an MBA in Finance from Texas Tech University. He spent 11 years in the Army as a Captain and Blackhawk helicopter pilot. He bleeds red, white and blue and is proud to be an American. J.D. spent over 20 years in corporate America in leadership positions in some of the top companies in the world. He is also a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. God has ordered his steps down a new path that is narrow and least traveled. He is excited and energized about the new direction and the doors God is opening. Many are called but few are chosen. J.D. is glad to be a child of God and chosen to spread his word.
