Details:
UltraViolet is the incendiary debut album from The New Burn. Led by singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Mark Wilkins, The New Burn have created a record that combines crafted melodies and arrangements together with thought provoking lyrics to demonstrate their belief that the song is king. There are no gimmicks, no egos, just a love of great rock music and the desire to make what any great band hopes to - the record they always wanted to hear.

From the stomp of ''Smashing Song'' to the reflective ''Days Of Doubt'' it is a record keeps the listener hooked until the end. It is the experience of travels and the friendships formed from playing in the band that shapes the heart of the New Burn.

Mark played all the instruments except the drums, (which were beaten within an inch of their life by Joe Holweger). Songs were written by Mark or co-written with Joe. Blood, sweat and a lot of time has gone into these recordings. Guitar amps have been cranked in the studio, drums are pumping, voices are hoarse... Mark mixed the album and produced it at Fatness First studios with Gavin Hammond. It has been mastered by Tim Turan at Turan Audio.
