New Hampshire based trumpeter/keyboardist/music educator, Michael Carruth, not only shares his love of music with his students, but with the rest of the world as well, with his newest CD entitled, “Goin Home”.
This project can best be described as a collection of jazz, rock, and symphonic musical ideas, influenced by my many trips back home to the Midwest. From the far off freight train whistles to the distant sounds of church bells, each composition represents the many people, places, and things that influenced the early years of my life. I hope you enjoy this project and hopefully a few of these songs will spark your memories of “Goin Home”.
P.S. - This project is dedicated to my best friend who passed away recently. He wasn''t with me long in this life''s journey but his unconditional love made each day with me a better day. God gave us many tools to help us deal with life and his creation of those wonderful animals called dogs are a true blessing. I''ll miss ya "Tucker"
