When I picked the Songs for this Album "GOING HOME", I thought of how many times during my childhood I heard my Irish immigrant parents speak of Going Home! The ''OLD SOD'' was never far from their thoughts, even though they knew that America was their new home now. I start this Album "GOING HOME" with the National Anthem of the United States of America, The Star Spangled Banner, and end with God Bless America. In between are 13 Great folk songs of America and Ireland! My hope is that you enjoy each song as much as I took great pleasure in singing them for you!
