Sheera washed up on the shores of Venice Beach, California soon after washing out of the womb of her mother. From her first breath on, she was invigorated by the prospects of freedom. Taking to dance and music at an early age, Sheera formed her musicianship in the schools of Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, Burt Bacharach, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu and in the depths of her own knowing. Discovering first that she was a natural drummer, not often thrown off the steady beat of her own heartsong, Sheera learned by ear and by feeling what many only begin to understand by reading. Music, song, spirit and movement are natural and they flow steadily from Sheera’s perspective. She writes what she sees, exposing what has happened for her during her experiences and sharing them for the betterment of our planetary consciousness. If song can spread itself around the world, touching many and becoming inspiring through them, Sheera knows from her own honed musicality that it is Universal Love that gives that song voice. And it is her intentional presence in that Universal Love that works through Sheera in order to provide us with her truth.
