Leonard L. Webster Jr. known as Sam"ACE"Rawsteen better known as Y.G. or Lord Blaze was born February 1,1979 in Nashville,TN(General Hospital). He was a very energetic child from birth. He is one of three children. He has a brother and a late sister who passed a baby due to crib death. He was exposed to pain early in life due to the lose of his baby sister. After the passing of his sister his parents separated due to all the stress of losing a child and his world was turned upside down. At an early age he was introduced to music and fell in love instantly. He enjoyed artist like Stevie Wonder, Sugar Hill Gang, Micheal Jackson, Al Green, and Marvin Gaye to name a few. At age 6 he got a drum set for his birthday and made noise day and night. At the age of 9 he began writing lyrics. He wrote mostly rap rhymes after being introduced to rap music. He continued with his writings and later he began composing music for his lyrics. Although, his music wasn''t quite Mozart yet he continued due to his love and passion for this art. He attended multiple schools due to his mothers traveling from Tennessee to Kentucky and multiple other states. He never lost his roots even though he was a traveling child. Sam attended high schools in Nashville,TN(Hume-Fogg Magnet, Maplewood Comprehensive, and graduated with a 3.0 GPA from Stratford Highschool) in 1998. He joined the military(Army) in June of 1998-August of 2002. He served in war in Afghanistan and received multiple awards. He has traveled and experienced tremendous situations in his life. In 2002 he met Trenity Turner known as Blitz through a mutual friend and they shared the same love of music and began structuring themselves for a music career. Sam has been composing and writing for approximately 20 years. He has been recording music since 1998. He has currently graduated cum-laud from The International Academy of Design and Technology with a degree in Digital Audio Production. Sam has his own home studio and has worked with local acts as well as himself and associates to perfect the craft of an artist as well as a composer and producer. Sam has produced a total of 6 albums for others such as Street Kings, Scar G.E.O., Da Xtablishment, Rock5tar and Sausage Entertainments artist collaborative effort. Sam Has worked with a variety of artist ranging from country to rhythm and blues as a producer giving direction as well as creating the artists sound and building a name for himself. Sam is also known as "Da Bombah" a producer. He has skills in mixing, mastering, pre and post production, and editing. He creates music from the heart and hasn''t taken any classes or instrument lessons. He utilizes computers based programming to compose his music and record. He has experience with analog and digital recordings. Sam has worked with ProTools, Nuendo, Reason and many other programs used to make music the magic it is today. Sam has 6 years experience as a producer and 12 years experience as a composer and to date is still working to be the best there ever was. He is also a writer for all genre of music and also he is an artist participating in Rap/Hip-Hop genre. He doesn''t have a specific type of music he just loves all music and wants to indulge in all forms without boundaries.
