MP3 Satohara - Anti-Social Anomaly

A look into the mind of an anti-social person told through electronic music. The loops and the rising sound signify a lost soul''s journey through life, leading to their eventual cry to the world that they''re still here, and they want to be heard.

Details:
This song was a result of randomly making loops and ideas until it started to sound like a song. After some of the basics were formed, the idea of this song being the life of an anti-social teenager came into being. I wanted to convey the struggle to break free from the mold life had cast on this person, and I think I was able to do that in the progression of added octaves to the synthesizer throughout the different loops. The bass line just seemed to fit, so there''s really nothing special about it. The fade at the end is supposed to represent the person''s need to cry out to the world lessening as they find something worth chasing in life. This is the first song I made that made me think about what electronic music can do and what emotions that it can convey, even the songs with no lyrics. This song started the effort to create a story through electronic music, which led to the creation of SATOhara and the debut album "Distance in Darkness".
