SassySingz is a star on the rise. There is no denying her love for music, more preferably R&B soul & Hip Hop R&B. Influenced by Mary J. Blige’s rise to success as the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Sassy has been gracing the stage with her melodic vocals any and everywhere she can. From the back ends of USA Flea market in liberty city, to the grand stage of FIU ‘s Spring Bling, Sassy has been singing her heart out. This has allowed her to open up for artists such as, Black Dada, JayR, and Mr. Birthday Sex himself, Jeremiah.
SassySingz’ has been writing and producing her own music since 2001 and this has opened many doors for the gifted singer. She had the privilege of being flown to Europe to sing at Edson Brahhfield’s wedding, World Cup 2010 finalist from the Netherlands soccer team. She was co-host of “The Hip Hop Soul Lounge” radio show on 105.5 fm for its first season on the air. The show allowed Sassy to explore a different side of music which fueled her drive to not only become the best R&B soul singer but to help fellow artists do the same. Her ultimate dream is to be the next “Betty Wright” of Miami . With the initiation of Feline Royale Entertainment, alongside business partner & friend, Jesseca Brun, SassySingz has launched her own label geared toward showing “Nothing But Love” in hopes to unite fellow artists and help them in their pursuit of their musical careers.
Sassy’s tenacious attitude and melodic vocals landed her a position as a finalist in the Budweiser Superfest Contest entitled “Battle of The Crown” sponsored by 99 jamz in summer of 2010. With her soulful vocals and jaw dropping talent, she won runner up at the battle; A memorable moment for SassySingz’ musical journey. Shortly thereafter, she opened up for Kindred: The Family Soul and sang background for them at Sataoro''s in Hollywood, Florida. But this is only the beginning for Sassy as she continues to make her way to the top to make her dreams come true. She has been recognized as City of Miami Gardens 2011 Breakout Artist. Now represented by Eli Joseph of Spark Marketing & Management, there is no doubt that you will continue to hear more from Sassy, as she “Singz”.
