The Hum Bull is out of Austin, TX and lead by bassist, writer and producer, Bob Amonett, who is fortunate to have some of Austin''s best bringing his vision to life. Before moving to Austin, Bob was in music school. First at the Universty of Miami for Electric Jazz Bass, then at TCU for Classical Acoustic Bass. After several years in bands (Drama Tiki, Citizen Lane, Galapagos, The Goliath Organization, Goliath), Bob moved to NYC to attend The Bass Collective in Manhattan. After being blessed to have studied with the best for a year, he returned to Austin, taking his new found knowledge back to the stage. Blessed again, Bob found himself playing with legendary Austin vocalist Malford Milligan (Storyville). He released his 1st studio solo album (Goliath - More Than Myth) soon after. The next step was The Hum Bull, his 1st vocal band. Years of ideas for songs had piled up while in those other bands, and this is the outlet. Strong, Somber and a little bit angry...you''ll love it.
