-Vintegaas was constructed by Bob Thomas (Guitar) , and Eric Schettini (Drummer) in the summer of 2002. Being the two Remaining members of the band Unrezolved, the original guitarist of Hotboxed Joe Aguire (Vocals), and also newcomer Richard Vochkov on Bass... The level of heaviness that is brought with this project, is that of a hardcore riot! This four piece brings the energy of a 5 piece, and some... Be prepared for the biggest of pits, the loudest of sound... and the heaviest of music! Vintegaas is "your living nightmare"!
-With the release of their first demo in 2000... the local metal commuity enbraced this genre with open arms. Still continuing their repetative onslot, Vintegaas released their first EP, "OUR ENERGY BUILDS" in 2002 to add to the already rising name. In 2004 after a tragedy that broke the band for a few months, they went on to record their first live album here Portland Oregon. After the musical chairs of members had worked its toll... the boys finally stood their ground, and decided to stay a force of 4. In 2005, Vintegaas did a complete "overhaul" on the band, gear, sound, and song writing. Spending the whole year writing new material and spread''n the word, they have sworn themselves to a "no life till leather" attitude. As Bob said himself, "I won''t stop until long after the road has killed me!" With hearts and minds unified, these boys are here to stay!
-Vintegaas has had the privalage to share the stage with some of the heaviest in the industry, including, Sixfeet Under, Thine Eyes Bleed, SwornEnemy, Asesino, Vehemence, Animosit, Hostility and Out For Blood! Will the madness end??? Well...
-Now constructed and AVAILABLE SOON... Vintegaas'' new EP "Living Nightmare" will kick ya in the jaw, and leave you begging for more. Recorded at Geomana by Chris Finster, and mastered by non other than Steve Holt from 36 Crazyfists, this new EP is definately going to open eyes. Featuring such tracks as "THIS PATH" and "Virulent", Vintegaas will soon show you that you need to... "Be prepared to have your ass, kicked in!!!"
