Jeff Barash, a native of Los Angeles, currently gigs in the Southern California area.

Jeff has earned his Bachelor and Master''s Degrees in Music.

He has performed at various Jazz Festivals and Clubs around the world, including the Montreux Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Jazz and Heritage Festival in New Orleans, Blues Alley in Washington, D.C., Andy''s in Chicago, El Chapultapec in Denver, Tender Trap in Las Vegas, Steamers in Los Angeles, and Croce''s in San Diego.

A few of the numerous Jazz Greats he has peformed with are Joe Williams, Louie Bellson, Carl Fontana, Charles McPherson, Joe Bonner, Monk Montgomery, Benny Green, Joe Romano, Snooky Young, Harold Land, Ron Eschete, Lou Levy, and Jake Hanna.

In 1993, his Jazz Trio performed on the Inaugural Nationwide Cable TV Broadcast of the "Jazz Discoveries" Program on Black Entertainment Television (BET).

Jeff has had Jazz radio broadcasts on KVOD (Denver), KLON (Los Angeles), KUNV (Las Vegas), and NPR (National Public Radio).Jeff is active in the Los Angeles club scene fronting his Quartet.

He is a member of the National Jazz Service Organization.

Group members:
Mike Owen, plays Electric Guitar on the CD recording "Bouncin'' On 160th Avenue." This Quartet recorded a first CD in January of 2000. Mike also composed "Subject To Change" on the recording. He has performed in various venues throughout the Los Angeles Metropolitan area as a free-lance musician and has had the opportunity to study with the legendary Joe Pass.

Dave Hitchings, the drummer in the quartet, is also a Southern California native and grew up playing drums in big bands, and has worked in the LA Jazz Workshop and Woody Herman Big Bands. Included among the many jazz greats that Dave has played with are Pete Christlieb, Carl Fontana, Jack Sheldon, Conte Condoli,Richie Cole, John Heard, and Bobby Shew.

Chris Larson, plays upright and electric bass in the quartet, and his musical background includes degrees from Florida Community College and the University of South Florida. He lives in California and has played bass with such jazz greats as Billy Eckstine, Terry Gibbs, and Carl Fontana.
