Brian Bauers and WMD is a fully original modern rock group. Playing since 1999 and based out of Manhattan, Brian Bauers has played shows all across the Northeast and East Coast.
"The other night we checked out Brian Bauers & WMD at Arlene''s Grocery (95 Stanton Street, between Ludlow and Orchard). WMD is a modern rock group formed in 2003 by singer/songwriter Brian Bauers, guitarist Jaime Sturm, and drummer Frank X. Fallon. Bass player Dion Roy was on hand to complete the classic John- Paul-George-Ringo setup.
Their sound is 1962 Hamburg meets 1990 Seattle. There are lyrical, melodic moments, but they''re well padded in a hard, wallpounding beat."
