This CD "Tell the World," released in 1997, represents the debut of Lenz''s unique hard-driven jazz. Often described as a cross between Mike Stern and Pat Metheny, Lenz manages to maintain his own identity both as a guitar player and as a composer. His highly structured songs are both melodic and groovin'' yet leave plenty of space for his superb band to show their stuff.
