Maryam Becerra was born and raised on the central California Coast. She began piano lessons and writing music at age four and was classically trained for the next twelve years in piano, guitar, violin and musical theory. After putting classical on the back burner Maryam started "rockin'' out" and playing with garage bands, family outings and small private events. With endless tunes in mind and on paper, Maryam started seriously recording her music in the late 1990''s. All of the music and lyrics are written and recorded by Maryam.
