Born in Altai Siberia, Russia, Oksana (Oksana Yurievna Kolesnikova) was introduced to the piano at a very young age. She started her first lessons in Kazakhstan and won her first piano competition at age 9.
Oksana studied classical piano for 17 years, in Russia and in the U.S. In 1993 she moved to the United States and settled in Florida, graduating with honors from Florida State University in August 2001. She has since performed countless concerts in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
With a colorful repertoire ranging "from Bach to Rock" to her haunting original works in New Age style, Oksana wins her audiences with her grace, beauty and a warm, down-to-earth personality.
Whether storming concert grands or electronic synthesizers, Oksana sports a practically endless repertoire of great music to please three generations of music lovers.
She has released five CDs to date, with two more scheduled for release next year. Her most recent tours included appearances in England, Greece, Spain, Italy, S. Korea, Japan, Singapore and China.
Oksana lives in Hollywood, CA where she''s also active as an actress.
