About the words “Sonidos & Tiempo”
Spanish pastor and musician Hilarión Eslava (1807-1878) defined music as “the art of good combining the sounds and the time”. A hundred years later Pope John Paul II said in his letter to artist (1999) how “through art… souls might be lifted up from the world of the senses to the eternal.” Music as art allow us to explore the ephemeral (our journey through this life) and eternity (God) in the same chord. These are the concepts that inspire “Sonidos & Tiempo”.

“Canciones para mi bebé” son canciones tiernas que nos hablan de las alegrías y experiencias que viven los padres a la llegada de un bebé, y de como ese amor refleja el amor que tiene Dios por nosotros. El CD incluye la versión instrumental de todas las canciones.
La colección musical “Sonidos & Tiempo” celebra nuestra humanidad y nuestra relación con Dios, nuestro creador. En sus canciones, Sonidos y Tiempo explora como se manifiestan los valores y las enseñanzas cristianas en nuestro diario vivir.
Sobre las palabras “Sonidos y Tiempo”
Hilarión Eslava (1807-1878), sacerdote y músico español, definió la música como “el arte de bien combinar los sonidos y el tiempo”. Más de cien años después, el Papa Juan Pablo II nos dice en su Carta a los Artistas (1999) como “a través de las vías del arte los ánimos [son] llevados de lo sensible a lo eterno”. La música como arte nos permite explorar lo efímero (nuestro paso por esta vida) y la eternidad (Dios) en un mismo acorde. Estos son los conceptos que inspiran la colección Sonidos y Tiempo.
