Leaving in the Zeppelin licks and Beatles harmonies of 2004''s Slipstream, We are the Listeners adds in The Stack''s own sound, full of detail, lush "wall of sound" arrangements, and unique lyrics.
Released August 2006, We are the Listeners includes songs written over the course of the previous 3 years, including blasts of funk guitar in "Take It," waves of static in "Pocket," gentle acoustic pop in "Years and Years," and a shaking frantic groove in "San Quentin."
