MP3 Third Eclipse - Guest Parking Only

Rock/punk band from Central California, fronted by 3 sisters and backed by one lucky guy.

10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Punk, POP: Power Pop

Details:
“The band’s hard work has paid off. The album’s 10 tracks display tight musicianship and a good ear for hard rocking melodies with catchy hooks. ”Insecticide” and “Thinker” are two stand-out tracks, demonstrating the band’s ability for capturing and switching moods . . .”

-Andrew Gilhooley- “Sister rock” 411 Magazine, 3.30.06

“Most of Guest Parking Only features songs like ”Waiting”,
which have dense riffing that gives way to airy, poppier choruses. “Headstrong” starts with a battery of chunky
guitar but goes into an infectious chorus recalling female ‘80’s acts like The Go Go’s.”

-Stuart Thorton- “Riff Sisters” Monterey County Weekly, 3.30.06

Three sisters and a lucky guy. Third Eclipse is one of the most promising rock bands on the
Central Coast right now. The band features: Beth on lead guitar and lead vocal, Christine singing
backgrounds and playing rhythm guitar, Faith on bass guitar as well as background vocals and
Miguel on drums. In April 2006 they released their debut album, “Guest Parking Only,” recorded at
Boomtown Studios with Grammy-winning producer Jeffrey Cohen. Since then Third Eclipse has
been working hard getting their music heard and promoting “Rack n’ Roll.” “Insecticide,” the first
single off their album, has been featured on 103.9 The X’s popular radio show “Toke It or Choke It”
with excellent response, and is also frequently requested during The X’s local music hour “The
Scene” every Thursday night. Third Eclipse performs regularly at the popular Monterey club
The Lava Lounge, as well as other venues in Salinas, Santa Cruz and San Jose.

Here''s what other people are saying about Third Eclipse:

“What do you get when you mix three sisters (including two redheads) passionate about punk, thunderous
guitar riffs and a big-haired drummer named Miguel, add enough energy to make Gwen Stefani blush, and sprinkle
lyrics that range from rowdy to reflective? You get a vitalizing version of the Distillers with a look and feel original enough to block out the sun.”

-Mark C. Anderson “Punked by Girls” Monterey Coast Weekly, 6.16.05

“There are some nights when it seems like males outnumber the females at local bars 33 to 1. . . . Tonight, the entertainment will be superior to observing drunks and the odds will even out a bit when Third Eclipse takes the stage at the Lava Lounge. . . . Third Eclipse play punishing metal, Distillers’ style punk rock and poppier fare.”
