This is a wonderful collection of children''s songs about animals. The songs are sung in Yiddish by Paula Teitelbaum and Lorin Sklamberg (of the Klezmatics), joined by other world-class klezmer musicians Lauren Brody, Jeff Warschauer, Adrienne Cooper, Henry Sapoznik and Frank London.

You do not need to know Yiddish to enjoy this CD! The CD comes with a 42 page booklet featuring all the lyrics in Yiddish letters, transliteration and in English translation. The booklet features beautiful papercuttings by Adam Whiteman.
