The CD, titled Torch Songs, features 12 tracks of all original material that relives yet updates the anthemic, sing-along style made popular by front man Jeff Pezzati''s former group, Naked Raygun.
The music, both hard hitting and yet infectiously "poppy" appeals to the novice Beach Boys fan as well as the savvy, hard sell Bohemian type. Lyrically, the majority of the tracks touch on the subject of forsaken love and love lost, lending an expanded meaning to the idea of a torch singer.

Six of the songs were recorded with long time friend Steve Albini at Electrical Audio, his Chicago studio. Four tracks were scribed at One Room Studio in Wilmington, IL with pop-meister Dave Zuchowski.
