MP3 Eric Harrison - Before Breakfast

Literate acoustic pop

21 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Folk Rock, POP: Folky Pop

Details:
"Warning: Fans Only!"? These 21 songs are the artiste''s favorite 80 minutes of his recordings prior to the release of "Breakfast" in 1999 - with the notable exception of "Pocket of Rain", which he wrote and recorded in 2006 as the theme for "The Gold Standard", an off-Broadway play by Daniel Roberts. Ultimately the musical producer of the show (rumored to be the playwright himself) replaced this plaintive Harrisong with "Save it for Later" by the English Beat. The show proceeded to close after its first run.

Coincidence? I don''t think so. The English Beat have never played at a Kenn Kweder Hootenanny in Philadelphia and therefore lack the innate understanding of Philadelphian angst that Harrison tapped to craft his homage to Roberts'' fatally flawed, ridiculous, sublime protagonist Krego. But I digress.

If you''ve read this far then you''re either a friend of Eric or someone with too much time on his/her hands. Either way, your interest is very much appreciated since I''m very proud of these songs, which span the course of my first decade as a songwriter. One of the benefits of being musically unhip is that the music I made in 1990 sounds only slightly more dated than the music I made in 2006. Though I must admit that some of the lyrics are embarrassing. I attribute this primarly to youth and sexual frustration.

Speaking of which, for more masturbatory self-commentary please visit my website, https://www.tradebit.com. Thanks for listening.
