The Biography

Tamara "God''s Princess" Halyard, was born Tamara F. Walker in Jacksonville, Florida. She is the daughter of Minister and producer, Fred Walker and gospel-recording artist, Evangelist Sabrina Walker. In 2004, she became the wife of music producer and arranger, Morris J. Halyard lll, (A.K.A Big Moe Productions).
This twenty-four year old, saved woman of God is continually on the move for Christ.
Tamara was the first black woman president of the New Stanton College Preparatory High School, where she graduated in 1999. She served as "First Runner-up Miss Stanton", in which she won "Most Talented" for singing her stirring and anointed rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Waters". She was also a member of the marching band, "Honor Society", "Gospel Choir", and voted "Most Likely to Succeed". In 2001, Tamara received her Associate of Arts Degree from the University of North Florida. In 2003 she received her Bachelor''s Degree in Elementary Education with Honors, also from the University of North Florida. That same year she became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated. She is currently teaching in Jacksonville.
Musically, Tamara is constantly writing, arranging, singing, or producing the next gospel inspired song. In 2004, she assisted with her mother''s album release, "Virtuous Woman". Tamara meditated and prayed to write three songs for the album, which were: "I Lift My Hands", "God''s Love-Remix", and "Pursue"(which is a duet w/Tamara and her mother). She also had the opportunity to co-write and arrange several other songs on the disc.
Tamara''s musical anointing ONLY comes from God. She was blessed to have training all her life. She served faithfully from 1999-2001 as the choir directress of the Faith Deliverance Assembly Mass Choir, based in Jacksonville Florida. She also sang backup for her mother''s group, "The Pentecost Singers" for five years.
Tamara had the pleasure of singing backup for her mother at the Bobby Jones Gospel Retreat in Las Vegas, Nevada in December 2000. She also had the honor to minister in song in 2001 at the Summer Gospel Explosion, featuring Dr. Bobby Jones in Jacksonville, Florida. She sang a song she wrote entitled: "God is the Only Way".
Tamara currently serves as an active member of the choir and praise team at the New Saint James Holy Family Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Her Pastors and spiritual leaders are Pastor Rudolph and Dr. Prophetess Barbara Mims.

She is on the move for the One and Only True Living God-Christ Jesus
