MP3 Hypersolid - Salvage of the human machine (sampler)

A very musical yet very heavy mix of many different styles of metal, blended splendidly to captivate not confound.

3 MP3 Songs
METAL: Progressive Metal, METAL: Thrash/Speed Metal

Details:
HYPERSOLID are a band that will not be held to a standard, a form, or a mold. A metal band that isn''t afraid to go their own way, and be true unto only one thing- the music, NOT the trend.

In a time of cookie-cutter bands, songs, images, and gimmicks where everyone is afraid to stray from the formula, HYPERSOLID remain true to themselves. They aren''t afraid to disregard the current metal band naming conventions. To stray from the graphics trends. They aren''t afraid to NOT have a breakdown. They aren''t afraid to NOT say they''re "the most brutal thing ever", or to have songs that travel seamlessly through several styles.

One needs to hear not one, but several songs from the band to truly BEGIN to grasp the entire concept.

So what does HYPERSOLID sound like? Fans have been quoted as comparing them to Queensryche, Soilwork, Meshuggah, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and many others- both modern and classic. One thing is certain- no one can describe the band easily, as anything but AMAZING.

A big reason for this is the vocal performance of Sam Space. In one song the vocals can go from Rob Halford highs to Anselmo lows, sometimes in the blink of an eye. Not to mention the myriad of other textures in between. Listening to Sam is like an education in Metal singing, from past to present. In fact the whole band is incredibly talented- unlike many bands, THERE IS NO WEAK LINK.

HYPERSOLID is without a doubt one of the most diverse and talented bands in New England. They have shared the stage with many bands, and performed at the prestigious NEW ENGLAND METAL AND HARDCORE FESTIVAL in 2006 in the main room. They will also be appearing at the 3rd annual ROCK AND SHOCK FESTIVAL as well- supporting SOILWORK, DARKEST HOUR, MNEMIC, an THREAT SIGNAL.

A new demo/ album is on the way, with the help of producer Zeuss, entitled "Salvage of the Human Machine". It promises to be many things- but mostly, a new precedent and a much needed breath of fresh air. Change is coming, and it''s about damn time.
