Seeking to put a spiritually fresh perspective on rock music has been the goal of least of these since its birth in 2001. /their humble beginnings leading worship services for their local churchs youth group in rockland county, ny connected them as friends as well as band mates. Initially only a church worship band, Farrell Hopkins (vocals/guitar), kyle Nicholson (guitars/ effect keys), ryan Higgins ( bass/vocals), and scott Smith (drums) began writing and performing original music and quickly found their original sound. In 2002 least of these was fortunate enough to record their first original full-length album, learning still, at Pilot recording studios, in NYC; the first pressing of which sold out quickly in new york and new jersey. Least of these has since focused on performing, from initial coffe shops to larger venues such as new jerseys rexplex, now with over four years of experience the group has matured into their definitive sound, from different musical and social backgrounds. The guys of least of these come together to form an eclectiv mix of pop, funk, and indie sounds. They are currently working toward recording their sophmore album, to be release in the near future.////
