Details:
The twelve songs I did for this CD all have their individual stories, influences and backgrounds. (Heavily 70’s and one mid 60’s). Starting off with She’s Alright, written for Paul McCartney to his young daughter Beatrice. Nights in Fallujah and Promises & Lies address contemporary issues, while Song to England is this Yanks tribute to the British. Valentine, a jazzy number was surprisingly inspired by the Red Onion saloon in Skagway Alaska!
"Life, relationships and events can be chaotic like a hurricane, but you’ve got to ride it out."
All These Memories and Eternity deal with life, death and infinity. Precious to You, So Beautiful, and It’s so Nice are thoughts that came very late at night sitting in a chair while strumming my guitar. I ended the CD with the thought that Love is All That Matters, because at the end of the day it’s what so many of us deep down want to believe.
Hope you enjoy listening as much as I did while creating!
