The 13th Disciple, born Howard White in Forestville, Maryland, started his gospel rap career when he was 14, after he had gotten saved and spirit filled at the Ark of Safety Christian Church, where Bishop C. Anthony Muse is Founder and Senior Pastor. At first, it was just something to do, and then when he rapped his first gospel rap song called, "They Shall Fall", everyone started saying that this young man was going to become one of the greatest and hottests gospel rap artists in the world. The 13th Disciple started performing at various church events and his name started spreading around Maryland and DC like a virus that refuses to be destroyed, performing on the same stages with Keith Childress, St. Mark, Ason, and so many more artists. Challenges stayed working against the 13th Disciple''s vision and career, but he never gave up and kept going because the vision that God wants this young man to fulfill is more important than anything in the world. The 13th Disciple''s main goal is soul winning, by not only spreading the word of God through music, but also through action and by the love he has for God and for His people. New Year''s Eve night after the clock confirmed the beginning of 2005, went down in the 13th Disciple''s book as his official debut before completing what is already considered the best gospel rap CD out here, A New Day. Soon he began a label called Dub Duce Records consisting of one rapper and 2 singers, all gospel. The 13th Disciple hopes to one day perform on the same stage and the same CD with his influences like Fred Hammond, Ambassador, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, just to name a few.
