CARA-C, LA’s own “Pop Violinist” plays her red electric violin that soars with feminine mystique. Her picturesque compositions carry you through a canvas of your own imagination. “My songs are visual…each song has its own specific color”, says CARA.
Inspired by Jean-Luc Ponty and encouraged by Burt Bachrach, Cara decided to pursue her own passion of writing and performing original pop violin music.
CARA’s soulful melodies melt and satisfy the heart. She creates a catchy pop style, with memorable melodies and contemporary pop sounds. She explains, “There is always that rush performing in Carnegie Hall, but for me, nothing compares with playing my own songs to a wild and crazy audience!”
CARA’s career has included performing with some of the music industry’s giants, Burt Bachrach, Kenny Loggins, Barry Manilow, Whitney Houston, and N-Sync among others.
CARA-C followed the sun to Los Angeles after graduating from The Juilliard School in New York and was recently awarded “Best Violinist” by the Los Angeles Music Awards.
Currently, CARA is taking her ear candy into the studio, recording Starchild, her debut pop instrumental album.
