Formed in Jonesboro, Arkansas the now solidified lineup of Dark Embrace came together in July of 2006. Founding members Jason Barker, Patrick McNamee, and Brad Johnson formed Dark Embrace a couple years ago, but the band endured several personnel changes. Brothers Mike and Dan Turner joined Dark Embrace in the summer of 2006 after their band broke up and Dark Embrace was in need of a lead vocalist and lead guitarist. Quickly afterwards, Dark Embrace began tearing up stages all over the Mid-South and in a very short time gained some serious momentum among fans, critics and peers alike. 2007 promises to be a huge year for this hard working band.
Dark Embrace released their first official self titled EP on Tuesday April 24 2007. In the true spirit of the American underground music scene Dark Embrace released their EP independently through their own label,Dark Embrace Entertainment with Discmakers providing replication and distribution. Links for downloads and an CD purchases through an online store will appear on this page shortly.
