Led by Justin "Rooster" Graves, a native of San Antonio, Texas, The Brown Band is a rockin'' power trio. Playing a mix of originals and covers consisting of blues, rock, folk and a combination of all three, our music is hard to categorize...hence the term..."it''s just good music" !
Rooster''s background is diverse. From playing youth camps to nightclubs, coffee houses to packed stadiums and everything in between, Rooster is what we would call a true musician. Having the opportunity to play with the likes of Chris Taylor, Ruben V, Waterdeep, The Normals, David Kauffman, the 77''s and many more, he has learned what it takes to be a Godly musician. This job is more than being on stage and singing songs, it is about relationships and loving everyone along the way. Rooster has this gift and it is the backbone of The Brown Band.
