Growing up as a child in St. Louis, Mo, music always held a special place in his heart. As singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Ignatius has a smooth, soul oriented Jazz and R&B style. As an artist, he has been inspired by the likes of Kenny Lattimore, Milt Jackson, Kem, Stevie Wonder, and Earth, Wind and Fire, just to name a few.
Ignatius was born under the sign of Taurus, which is ruled by Venus, the goddess of beauty, love and romance. His music will enchant you, and draw you into its vortex of love. Ignatius’ musical style has been compared to Kenny Lattimore, Boney James, Smokey and Kem. He is a true artist, singer, and musician. He has worked with Kevin Burton (keyboardist) formerly with ‘Frankie Beverly and Maze’, Ed Simatel (saxophonist) with his own debut album released in Europe, Odell Ross (lead guitarist) currently on tour with ‘The Temptations’, and Kevin Johnson of Warner Bros./Atlantic/Cotillion’s Group ‘Slave’.
He takes pride in his versatile style and knowledge, playing instruments such as: the piano, drums, guitar and vibes. He also loves writing his own material, and playing for those who enjoy good music. Ignatius has a Master’s Degree in Music Education; however he chose not to pursue teaching, because his love for the “performance” aspect of the art. Well-known for his style and grace, “Are You The One”, is a romantic musical Odyssey. This is the music of Ignatius.
