JES RICHMOND

…“brings to the stage such warmth, talent, and diversity to his music, that it’s
hard to call this anything but an adult contemporary sound, that doesn’t pound or pulsate, but resonates with real life! Penned with substance and performed with
passion.” So says Tom Provenzano, entertainment critic with the https://www.tradebit.comkly Magazine.

David Bradford, music editor for The Bloomington Voice…“I’ve been listening
to Jes Richmond’s “Full Circle” CD -the first time because it’s my job, the dozen
or so times after that because it’s that enjoyable. If Richmond’s solo acoustic show is anything like the layered driven music on this disc his act will be very popular indeed!”

“Jes Richmond has indeed come Full Circle, with his first CD. As the song
expresses, ‘what you do comes back to you.’ It’s obvious that Jes has paid his
dues and the hard work spent mastering his craft has brought success back to him
with the release of this exciting new CD.” - written to the Indianapolis Star by
Ben Taylor, Master Luthier Of Indianapolis.

Jes is a singer, songwriter, rhythm guitarist extraordinaire, that has worked as a professional musician in Los Angeles, California for many years. Jes hails from Shelbyville, Indiana where he got his first guitar at the age of 12 from his Grand
Daddy, Major T. Jester, (his namesake, I might add!). From that day he cloistered himself with James Taylor, Kenny Loggins, Cat Stevens, Crosby Stills & Nash records and his first Yairi Alvarez. Jes learned his own style of guitar playing, hoping that what came ‘naturally’ might be worth something someday. After graduating high school Jes took off for parts unknown, eventually finding himself as a solo opening act in Denver and surrounding ski resorts from 1975-’79. He pushed on across the country and ended up performing at “The Great American Food & Beverage Co.” from 1980-‘83 having fun performing in the Bohemian environment with the likes of Peter Tork of The Monkees, Eric Lowen and Dan Navarro (Lowen & Navarro), and Vonda Shepherd of Ally McBeal fame.
Jes is now enjoying his 5th year of collaboration with
Indiana musicians Tad Robinson; Gordon Bonham; David Murray;
and Jeff Chapin...SOULBUS....and working in his band- Vicky Richmond; Randy Melson; Chris Pyle; John Byrne; and occasionally Sandy Williams and Dana Spence....
