SWEARBOX who were previously called sweet f.a. have been together for over 5 years. 2005 saw them forced into a name change by hardcore fans of the American 80s Heavy Metal Band Sweet FA and a tribute band to The Sweet (To this day though they do not deny their love for Heavy Metal music or their Sunday night fetish for spandex which may otherwise have found them sticking with their original moniker!!!) To date SWEARBOX have been hard at work gigging to promote their first full length CD, ''Do Me A Favour''. Released under their own label, Broad Loan Records, this was the first studio release from the boys in over 2 years. ''Do Me'' finds them combining re-recordings of old favourites with some new rockers. This release has been followed by live dates in and around Glasgow and saw them play in England at Liverpool''s world famous Cavern Club in October 2006.
