Samantha has been singing before she could even talk. The first time she ever performed in front of an audience was when she was 8-years-old. She was on vacation in Florida and it was Karaoke night at the Holiday Inn. The first song she sang that night was Whitney Houston''s, "Greatest Love Of All" -- not your typical 8-year-old selection! After hearing the audience''s reaction, she knew singing is what she was born to do. Samantha''s goal is to become an entertainer per the advice given by her vocal coach. She sang anywhere and everywhere she had an opportunity. Her favorite stage role was when she played Marty in her high school production of "Grease." She also performed at various talent shows and other events such as the National Honors Society ceremony, the Twentieth Anniversary MADD Banquet and high school football games. Samantha''s dream of becoming a singer became a reality in 2004 when she performed in a performance on an Oldie''s Cruise on Carnival Glory''s main stage. She sang another Whitney Houston song, "I Will Always Love You," with a live orchestra. It was a full house and again the reaction of the audience reaffirmed Samantha''s goal to continue to sing. The next day, Forest Syms, Road Manager for Dennis Edwards of the Temptations Review, approached her and is currently her manager. Since then, Samantha has recorded in St. Louis a debut CD of which she is extremely proud. Her most recent song demonstrates her growth throughout the last two years as a recording artist. Samantha is currently studying at the College-Conservatory of Music in Ohio. While education is a very significant part of her life, singing will always be her first priority.
"Education is an important part of my life, but my passion is music. My desire is to become a successful entertainer, doing what I was born to do -- and that is sing!"
