Cady Finlayson''s musical background includes classical training (Mannes College of Music), Irish fiddling, and a deep connection to the American folk music of her childhood.
Based in New York City, She fronts a five-piece Irish band and has performed in 24 states and at Irish festivals across the country. Her side projects include the soundtrack to an Irish aerobics DVD and a multi-genre fiddle show, "Fiddlers on the Loose", with Elektra Kurtis and Da Phatfunk Clique.
Cady has also performed as the fiddle soloist for the Police Pipes and Drums of Bergen County, performing in their shows at Cleveland''s State Theatre, The Jacob Javits Center, and Carnegie Hall. Her latest CD, Harp and Shamrock, features traditional Irish tunes with worldbeat influences, and is also available at CDbaby.
