Deconstructing Jim is Jeff Julian (voc/guitar), Matt Yeager (voc/bass), and Brennen Chouinard (drums), all of whom hail from Chicago’s southwest suburbs. Julian’s abstract style of songwriting mixed with Yeager’s matter-of-fact form of composing comprise a dynamic that gels emotive parts and passages that rock hard. After a full year of touring, writing and working with new addition on drums, Chouinard, the band’s rhythm section is tighter than ever thanks to Brennen’s cannon-arm drumming.
