Ethree.. Eliezer, Ely, and Eliel Lyn were all born in the Philippines and all grew up in a church where their dad, Ely Sagansay, pastored, and a school where their mom, Vem Sagansay, taught. Their parents are musicians so they grew up knowing and learning music. Even at a young age, the three of them would sing at their church.
In April 1998, they left the Philippines and moved to Michigan. Even at the new church they would perform the songs that their dad composed and sing it as a family.
In 2001, Eliezer, 14, composed his first song called Tinikling Remix and composed another one called Only One.
In 2003, he recorded Only One and Tinikling Remix along with Eliel Lyn and Ely and was put in the Ten Thousand Years album.
In the same year, and also the year after that, he composed and recorded his own songs to put in his album, Keepin'' It Real. They performed at churches and live events and at parties, just places they could perform no matter where it was.
They first started out being called the Sagansay Kids, the individual names or Filipino Hip-Hoppers from Detroit, =p but finally, after being called Eliezer, Eliel Lyn, and Ely, they finally found a name for themselves, ETHREE.
E3 is a christian rap group that reaches out to the young, and young at heart, giving out a positive message while keeping it modern so that it will be something that the youth will listen to. E3 also helps out missionaries around the world so that people get fed and get to learn about God.
