The unfortunate deaths of the Baxter cousins and their mom, to the death''s of several of the uncle''s that performed many shows with The Harkrider Brothers during the 50''s & 60''s is the foundation that started what has now become JoJo Ryder.
The original songs recorded shows a wide range of influences from the Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and ZZ Topp that are also covered nicely with their own versions of remakes from the 60''s & 70''s. These songs not only make you want to hear more but also make you want to hear more from these guys.
The original songs have a very serious side,The Picture,Run Away, but also lean to the lighter side with Lucky Cowboy and Barbecue. Their Texas roots are very noticable in their lyrics and style of music.
Classic rock, southern rock,counrty rock, all may be descriptive of this cd. One thing is certain, this is their sound and very creative in all ten cuts.
