STRONGHOLD is a contemporary southern gospel quartet from Howell, Mi. They take their name from Psalm 18:2 which describes God as our fortress, or stronghold. The group was formed in 2005 at Howell Nazarene Church and has sung extensively in the mid-Michigan area. Members include Don Byers (1st tenor), Jim Kitchen (lead), Dennis Byers (baritone), and Dan Fiedler (bass). Lynn Webster plays keyboards and arranges bookings for the group (989-723-1288 or 517-304-9292 cell). Tom Perkin is the group''s percussionist, while George McBride is the sound technician.
STRONGHOLD''s songlist includes southern gospel favorites, traditional hymns, and originals. In concert they share their personal testimonies along with their songs.
"When We Finally Reach Heaven" is STRONGHOLD''s first CD; the group is currently working on a favorite hymns compilation.
