From Austin to LA to Northern California and now on the East Coast, Camel Widad Kraemer took all the conversations with folks along the way who were upset with the social, political and spiritual scene in their lives and created a new type of folk music. From these many coffeehouse conversations began the impetus to create a new kind of folk rock music that didn''t bash or complain, but brought the focus back to the individual to create their own reality they wished to experience. You can hear this in the song ''Some Light''; "I''ve got something to say, I''m tired of living this way. It''s a dark world we''re living in, it''s about time we give ourselves some light".
Her attempt to bring folks out of the din of everyday life has been very successful in the local coffeehouse scene in Maryland.
