INFRADIG is an original goth-punk trio formed in 1993 in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. After playing the small NYC club circuit for years, the band went into hiding after the 2000 presidential elections. The band released one self-produced CD in 1996 and is currently recording their second. Band members include Dank on guitar and lead vocals, Kira on Bass, and Steve Goodman on drums. All three members write/collaborate on/produce the band''s material, which which mixes old- school punk influenced by the Dead Kennedys, the Ramones, Minor Threat and the Minutemen, with darker/hypnotic/cerebral grooves more in the vein of Sonic Youth and Bauhaus. Add just a dash of thrash and garage, and a sprinkle of Frank Sinatra, and you''ve got INFRADIG. Better yet, all ye who dare, take a listen for yourself.... ‘
